Problem we are solving:
We are solving the problem that its difficult to hire the right person, to do the right job, at the right price, and at the right time.
Why we believe we have the solution:
When we launched Helpt 144 days ago we were never just a cleaning app or a landscaping app rather we were an app for the 'everyday need.' Many competitors who have tried to solve this problem only attack part of the problem rather than the whole problem and its entirety. For example, an app/website for getting a single service is great but no one wants to have several different apps for several different services with several different interfaces/payment methods/customer service lines/etc. Helpt's goal is to be the universal place to hire anyone for anything. Companies that have been somewhat successful at this have been Thumbtack, Angi, and TaskRabbit however none of these companies completely vet their freelancers, and also they charge their freelancers per lead (a huge turn off to the freelancers because they get charged even if they don't 'secure' the lead). Here at Helpt, we believe there is a bubble in this market space that we can penetrate by vetting our freelancers and monetizing by taking a percentage of completed jobs.
Helpt's plans:
We are transitioning out of beta and into an app that meets industry standards while curating a two sided market place with users on both the supply (freelancer) and demand (client) side. We are continuing to build out our tech and advance our marketing by activating more campaigns in correspondence with the state of our software. We are also actively seeking out further mentorship, funding, and resources that can advance our company quicker.
Where are we at currently (as of 04/19/22)
428 people signed up on the client side (people who order services)
157 freelancers signed up on the helper side (people who do the services)
